Favorite Place on Campus

There are so many quiet, comfortable places I like to be while at The U. The library is AMAZING, and I've only really seen the first floor. Walking along the tree-line pathways is another favorite place for me. I've also become quite a fan of the upper room in the newly renovated Crocker Science Building. Shhhh...don't tell anybody about that place. I want to keep it to myself.

But, one of my all-time favorite places to be on campus is at the Natural History Museum. When my kids were young we would often go and inspect everything. Oh my, there are some cool exhibits!

Utah is famous for its dinosaurs, after all. But, oh my, at the Natural History Museum there is so much more...

Favorite Event at The U

There is never a shortage of "things" to do on campus. From plays, to concerts, to sporting events - there's always something going on. For me, though, my favorite event on campus is a Ute game at a place where I get to share with my family and with thousands of others - Rice Eccles Stadium.

A Ute game at Rice Eccles...oh my goodness...it's such a fun event!

Rice Eccles Stadium is home to the University of Utah's football team and watching their games is fun, fun, fun! This is a picture of my son on the field playing with his high school football team. When the Utes play, this stadium can get really loud and that's one of the reasons this is such a great place - it's fun! The student section, known as The Muss, gets crazy loud!

If you've never been to Rice Eccles Stadium to watch the football team play (and the band march at half-time, and the cheer squads) you should definitely plan to go.

Go Utes!

Favorite Place in Downtown SLC

I think Downtown Salt Lake City is beautiful. I love the sound of Trax crossing the intersections, seeing workers file out of tall (and old) buildings, and families out together for a fun day. There are many great places to visit. Some of my favorite are: City Creek Center, The Public Library, Abravanel Hall, Vivint Smart Home Arena, City Creek Park, Eccles Theatre, Gourmandise Cafe, and of course...Temple Square. In fact, here's a picture of my family and I in Temple Square.

Temple square may be my favorite place because it's both peaceful and beautiful. There are always many people walking around and many places to stop and sit or even people-watch.
